Mariah E. Moran is an associate at Stetler & Duffy, Ltd. Prior
to joining the firm, Ms. Moran practiced as a criminal defense
attorney at Durkin & Roberts and as an associate in the
Commercial Litigation and Securities Litigation groups at Neal
Gerber & Eisenberg, both in Chicago. Ms. Moran served as a law
clerk to the Honorable James T. Moody and the Honorable Allen
Sharp, in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of
Indiana.
Ms. Moran concentrates her practice in the defense of white
collar criminal matters. Her criminal defense practice has
involved representing clients at trial and on appeal, in grand
jury proceedings, sentencing proceedings, and in connection with
investigations conducted by the United States Department of
Justice, including cases involving bank fraud, mail fraud,
public corruption, and securities and tax fraud.
Ms. Moran is a member of the Bar of Illinois Supreme Court,
the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit Court, the
U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the
U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, and
the United States Supreme Court. She is also a member of the
Trial Bar for the Northern District of Illinois.
Ms. Moran received her undergraduate degree from Miami
University and was awarded a graduate degree in History of
International Relations from the London School of Economics and
Political Science in 1997. In 2000, she graduated from Indiana
University School of Law, Bloomington. She was Senior Articles
Editor of the Federal Communications Law Journal.
